Jan. 26, 2016, --- Socionext Inc., a leader in state-of-the art system on chip technology, will feature its very large scale, high performance SoC designs for data center systems during a comprehensive presentation at the annual Linley Group Data Center Conference scheduled for Feb. 9-10 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara.

During Session 5 on day two at 11:25 AM, “High Performance SoC Solutions for the Data Center” will be presented by Nobuaki Nonaka, manager of Socionext’s High Performance SoC Business Unit. The discussion will review Socionext’s advanced technologies, robust design technology and IP portfolio, and how they help develop differentiated products and reduce development time. Nonaka will focus on leading edge SerDes and building blocks designed to expedite ASIC development in 20nm, 16nm, and finer technology. The day 2 session, moderated by Wirbel, will explore cutting-edge IC technologies and IP cores that focus on high efficiency.

Nonaka has worked on physical design methodology and CAD area at Panasonic from 1990 to 2000. He later transitioned to high performance SoC physical design at Fujitsu from 2000 to 2014. He is currently developing 16nm physical design methodology for high performance SoC.
